About Sabrina

I’m Sabrina Schwaighofer, a founder, mother, migrant, and a woman in transition.

For the past decade, I’ve poured my heart and energy into building MadeComfy, co-founding it from the ground up and growing it into a category-defining business, recently celebrated as one of the most significant acquisitions in the industry across Southeast Asia. It’s been a journey marked by grit, growth, and hard-earned lessons in leadership—lessons forged through setbacks, reinvention, and the courage to keep showing up, even in moments when I wasn’t sure I belonged.

Becoming a mother, especially to a daughter, shifted something deep in me. It made everything more urgent. I want her to grow up with the confidence I had to build, piece by piece. I want her to be surrounded by the leadership lessons I had to live through, to inherit them at home, not by chance but by design.

Not to shield her from challenges, but to give her a higher starting point. I want my ceiling to be her floor, a foundation she can stand on as she finds her own voice, her own path, and the lessons that will shape her story.

When I learned that girls’ confidence starts to decline as early as age six, it all became clear. The next chapter of my life isn’t about building another company; it’s about building up the next generation. Starting with my own daughter.

This journal is my way of sharing the real story, the behind-the-scenes truths of entrepreneurship, the unspoken challenges of leadership, and the transformation of identity that motherhood sparked in me. It’s a space to reflect, to tell the truth, and to plant seeds of confidence and leadership for her and for anyone else on this path.

This isn’t the end of my story. It’s the start of a more meaningful one.
